I think I have a mental illness?
Topic: How to write an official two weeks notice
May 19, 2019 / By Dwane Question:
I always notice that I do things differently than most people especially people my age (i'm 14). I always get "Stuck" on things like a song. I will hear a song and I will really like it I usually listen to a few other songs but then I go back to that song and replay it when a new song starts I will go back to that song again over and over until eventually I put the song on repeat (Last night I listened to the same song for 3.5 hours and today I have been listening to it for about 2 or so hours) Or certain foods this week I have been eating a lot of apple sauce and berries. I previously I have got stuck on waffles, grilled cheese, tofu dogs, veggie burgers, and I will just keep wanting to eat just that food or mainly that food. From time to time I get these weird ticks for around 9 months or so I have been blinking really hard and rubbing the inside of my lips and cheeks on my teeth. I have a really hard time in social situations . I never know what to say or how to say it and if I know what I want to say I get really nervous and end up not saying it (that has been going on for about two years) so I always just end up sitting there quietly while every one else talks and when someone points out that I'm not talking I get really embarrassed and my face flushes red. When ever I have to perform in front of people (like give a speech or something) I stutter really badly and sometimes even though I remember what to say I can't say it because I am so nervous and if I talk I know I would start crying (I nearly cried when I had to recite a passage of my writing I was on stage in front of about 25-30 5th graders I had to step back and let someone else talk) . A lot of times when I am at a restaurant I have to ask my dad to order for me (sometimes I can do it but they waiters always tell me to speak up and I get embarrassed because I thought I was talking loudly and then I have to repeat my self). I have thought something was wrong with me for a long time I have looked a bunch of stuff up but I can't find anything that sounds like me. And when ever I hear of an illness I haven't heard of before I will look it up and obsess over it thinking I could have it but It never seems right.
I always have a really hard tine telling my parents stuff even if I just think I have a fever :/

Now, I am *not* diagnosing you or saying that you definitely have it, but some of the things you mentioned are red flags for autism. At least, your symptoms sound more like autism than anything else that I know of. Getting that "stuck" on certain foods or songs show repetitive behaviors, which is one of the signs of autism, and having a hard time in social situations is also a sign. The "weird ticks" (and what you're talking about is actually spelled "tics") could either be unrelated, or they could be a form of self-stimulatory behavior (which is repetitive behavior again, a sign of autism).
So, you might want to look up autism and Asperger's Syndrome (Asperger's is autism without the language deficits).
Here is a little quiz that you can take that will give you a better idea if autism/Asperger's is really something you should look into or not. It's not an official diagnosis by any means, but it'll give you somewhat of a better idea. http://glennrowe.net/baroncohen/autismsp...
Again, I am not diagnosing you, just giving a suggestion as to what it might be.

It could be some sort of social anxiety disorder.
Would you feel comfortable asking your parents to take you to a doctor so that you can get a professional opinion? Because that would totally be the way to go.
I know people on Yahoo Answers are smart....but...you know.

No you just have 3 normal facts.
2. Ticks, which may be inside your, can lay eggs and secretly hid in your room. (Your best chance to get rid of these is too get your parents anti-tick the house with you).
3. Stagefright, obviously. You're just scared to talk to your peers.

YES THERE ARE CURES. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ONLY CURE FOR THE SPAN OF THE DRUG IN HOURS. I HAVE WATCHED MY WIFE SINCE ninety six SPIRAL DOWNWARD. THEY CAN KEEP HER ALIVE AND THAT IS ABOUT IT. AS FOR A COMPANION, I STILL HAVE HER HERE. AS FOR A FUN DAY WALKING, CYCLING, MOTOR HOMING, DANCING, DINNERS, NO SHE IS NOT CAPABLE OF THOSE TASKS ANYMORE. BUT; SHE IS STILL HERE AMONGST THE LIVING FOR A WHILE LONGER, SMILING AND LAUGHING AND TELLING HER STORIES AS SHE CAN ONLY TELL THEM.

Keep in mind, psychosis or "Crazy" could be defined in a series of ways varying on the people. The most common interpretation of crazy is "Irrational Thinking", or thought processes that seem to have no apparent sense what so ever.
It sounds like you are suffering from some sort of emotional dysfunction. Emotions that lead to depression. Or in your case, primarily Anger.
I couldn't tell you a sensible solution, other then to seek professional help. But if nothing else, try to find close friends to talk to about it that will hear you out.
