The concepts are given below: A. Investment Banking: -An investment bank is a financial institution that assists individuals, corporations, and governments in raising capital by underwriting and/or acting as the client's agent in the issuance of securities. An investment bank may also assist companies involved in mergers and acquisitions, and provide ancillary services such as market making, trading of derivatives, fixed income instruments, foreign exchange, commodities, and equity securities. -For details, please read at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Investment_... B. Capital Markets; -A market in which individuals and institutions trade financial securities. Organizations/institutions in the public and private sectors also often sell securities on the capital markets in order to raise funds. Thus, this type of market is composed of both the primary and secondary markets. - Both the stock and bond markets are parts of the capital markets. For example, when a company conducts an IPO, it is tapping the investing public for capital and is therefore using the capital markets. This is also true when a country's government issues Treasury bonds in the bond market to fund its spending initiatives. -Please read at: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capi... C. Share/Stock Markets: -A share or stock market is a public entity (a loose network of economic transactions, not a physical facility or discrete entity) for the trading of company stock (shares) and derivatives at an agreed price; these are securities listed on a stock exchange as well as those only traded privately. -For details, please read at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Share_marke... I just lately read in today's papers about contactless bank cards. I simply don't believe the inspiration at all, Lily. It seems that, humans in M &S and indubitably different stores had been readily standing within the range of the contactless bank readers and finding that the 'readers' were scanning their important points from cards that had been of their purses/wallets. It was not until they obtained their month-to-month statements that they discovered that they had been being charged for purchases that that they had no longer made ! My ancient usual concept of sticking to money seems to be the perfect approach of warding off this, though I fear precise cash will emerge as a thing of the past in the not too distant future. Yes, I too am a sceptic, it'll not be lengthy before criminals have the manner to learn these contactless playing cards, so banks are simply making a rod for all of our backs.

It sounds like you have the right idea. First, protect your intellectual property. Then look for existing companies to market it. Remember that the process of making it might also need protection. You can also start your own brand name (company) and then contract someone else to produce your product in their facility. This is VERY common. Many food processing facilities package somewhat similar products (that can be made on the equipment they have) for a variety of different brand labels. If all else fails, try to find a partner you can trust that has successful experience in marketing similar products. Partnerships are very careful decisions, so don't jump into one unless you really have to and you really trust your partner.

You have to go through different companies' marketing departments. Their people have sales targets and a great idea like yours might help them.

Because when you lose, say, 10%, you have to gain about 11% to get back to even. $1000 - 10% = $900. $900 + 10% = $990.
