How Can I Get Over 7 Cats Of Mine(Including My 2 Favorites) Dying From Lukemia And One About To Die Too?

How Can I Get Over 7 Cats Of Mine(Including My 2 Favorites) Dying From Lukemia And One About To Die Too? Topic: Leukemia researches
July 20, 2019 / By Ashriel
Question: I've had 7(almost 8) cats die from lukemia in 3 days. I'm really upset about this.. and I honestly can't take it. I've gone from having 20 cats to having 12. My favorite cat is about to die, coughing up blood, eyes closing. My boyfriend told me to feed it fish food cuz it has healthy things for it in it, but my cat wouldn't eat it. How can I get over this? leukemia***

Fish food? Seriously? No way. Whatever your cats have is contagious, and vaccinations and treatment can prevent any more deaths. If they have feline leukemia, it's EXTREMELY contagious between cats and once they have it, there's no curing it. PLEASE take your cats to the vet, or at least one of them, for a diagnosis. If it is feline leukemia, you must get the others tested and vaccinated if they don't have it. Above all, and I know this sounds harsh, but please don't have more animals than you can care for, personally and financially. You aren't helping them when things like this happen, plus if they go outside, you are potentially affected every cat that lives around your home. And spay and neuter your pets - if it's a financial problem, many places will do them at a discounted rate (20 to $35 dollars, and sometimes free). Please take the time to research this instead of worrying about how to get over the aftermath on Yahoo.

I am sorry to hear about your losses. Okay, I'm not an expert, but it sounds more like distemper. Have you taken any of them to a vet? Usually leukemia is a drawn out disease, whereas distemper will quickly take many lives in a cat population in short order. Older cats may survive distemper and I would advise you to rush your favorite to the vet, pronto. Also, isolate any sick cats from the rest. It is difficult to eradicate this virus and it is likely you may lose all your cats. The virus can remain in the environment for a very long time. You can transmit it; it can be on bedding, or in food and water sources and generally everywhere. Since you have a computer I would suggest you start googling to see what you can do, but first take care of the one you love so much and the others that are symptom free. You should have vaccinated your cats against this, as it is a common and horrible killer of cats. Feel free to e-mail me for more info if needed.

Your cats have a contagious disease and I will be surprised if any live at all. One must have caught the disease from being outdoors and infected the entire cat population in your home. I am so sorry to hear of this happening. Do not bring in any more cats or kittens until you have all tested and they are negative. Or you will end up passing it on and they will die also. R P CAT

GO TO THE VET. NOW. Your cats are suffering and they seem to have something contagious. GO TO THE VET NOW SERIOUSLY, GO NOW.

There exists a delicate balance between my avocation (just a drugstore cowboy), and my vocation (an aspiring actor - one with diminished capacity). The awful truth is that just today on the set, my line was, "Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen", and I mouthed, "Awwwww, shucks!" (seems fatigue had set in). The director said I was flirting with disaster because they all wanted to go home, too. Replied this actor, "Roll again, this time you'll get nothing but the truth". Isn't it shocking that this good ole boy nailed that ending line, and headed straight to the drugstore for his malted milk? There his squeeze was heard to say, "I'll be your tootsie wootsie, and you be my keeper of the flame, you big hunk of a would be cowboy actor!" They slurped together whilst the outta town couple at the back corner table whispered in the dark about their portfolio, and about their futures - - - (fade to black).
