Its always wonderful when students are looking to get school supplies early before school starts. In high school, teachers usually won't tell you what you need until the first day of school. My guess is that you are trying to buy earlier because of the tax free weekend in North Carolina that ends on Sunday the 9th. I would suggest getting yourself several binders, paper, notebooks, pens and pencils. You may also want to get yourself some folders, and anything else you may thing would be good to have while going to school (paperclips, erasers, highlighters, etc.) Personally, I think its best that you are buying now when there is no tax because you can always return what you don't need. On the first day though all you need to bring is a folder or binder and some paper (and of course a pen or pencil). Your individual teachers will let you know what you need to get to be successful in their class on that day or sometime within the first week. Good luck in high school!

GO CANADA! ;) . anywaays, i started last year hahaa. :3. anyways, I suggest getting a 1 1/2 inch binder for each subject, although I'm not sure if it's necessary for dance and drama, so maybe just a duotang for those two? your choice. :3. You'll need a backpack of course, could be whatever brand you wish. You'll need pencils, pens, highlighters, stickies would be good, reinforcements ( those stickers you put over the holes in paper when they rip), a pencil case, and ruled paper. You NEED your own calculator for math, and a french-english dictionary is very useful for french, but isn't mandatory. That's basically it, can't think of anything else off the top of my headd ;). have funn! *this should be the best answer*

you ought to probable get maximum of required products first such at Textbooks and route sheets then get the products you'll use for them later. Now even nonetheless no longer lengthy yet extraordinarily effective what replaced into used through myself even as interior a similar grade throughout the time of 1995/6. there replaced into no longer a lot to opt for rather no computing gadget possession required, as there replaced into the computing gadget lab. maximum classes use a similar fabric you would possibly want to through at any branch/workplace save jointly with; Wal-Mart, objective, greenback generic, relatives greenback, ok-Mart, workplace Max, workplace Depot and extra; except your music and health center classes. The products used quite usually throughout the time of my time or perhaps few years after were WR/CR 3-5 situation notebooks, ordinary computing device paper from one hundred fifty to 2 hundred sheets, binders, papermate pencil/pens, TI-16 to TI-80 3 or Casio 86 calculators, compasses, maps, globes, glue, timber rulers ideally ones with feet/in no longer mm/cm, Elmer's glue, and different products yet yet indexed maximum of what bear in mind using there besides as at school. recognize that you and many youths on the instantaneous extraordinarily a lot learning more desirable than had myself throughout the time of HS you already recognize this. also that your smarter from learning certain factors in those classes at youthful age than replaced into once licensed. So i will end now as have answered in ideal and criminal way as human being and with out having any bias or themes to damage mew from answering the following. both lines indexed below are for the questionaire human being besides because the guy caregiver to the guy, therefore no longer say or do something incorrect. therefore doubt suggested something new, in spite of the undeniable fact that. i'm purely being as hardship-free and respectful as can to you. in actual actuality James Thompson Washburn college student Topeka, KS 66621

Depending on your school schedule, you'll need a binder per class therefore four classes four binders. What I found was that the 1" binders broke easily because of the amount of material, therefore i bought 1 1/2 or 2" binders. Pencil case filled with pens (black, blue, and red), pencils, erasers, and lots of whiteout. A protractor set and other materials used for math such as a ruler. Stacks of three hole lined-paper and self-adhesive hole enforcers. Dividers I suggest eight per binder, but once again that depends on the classes. Also if you're planning on taking gym, have good gym shoes. Also an agenda will come in handy if not already supplied with one. For the first day they will give you a material list, so if you want buy only necessities and then wait to see what else you need. Necessities such as things you used in previous grades. (Be sure to bring the "necessary" items the first day) Also tell your parents/guardians to get their checkbook ready ;) you'll have to pay a lot of fees the first couple weeks. Good luck :)

BASICS - No. 2 pencils - Mechanical pencils - Colored pencils - Pencil sharpener (hand-held with a top to collect shavings) - A large pink eraser - Ballpoint pens (Get a few red ink ones too, because some teachers have students do peer editing.) - Highlighters - Spiral-bound or composition notebooks - Loose-leaf notebook paper (Teachers can be picky about paper. Some middle schools ask that students use the college-ruled variety.) - A ruler with English and metric measurements ORGANIZATIONAL HELPERS - Several three-ring binders (Some teachers require that a binder be used exclusively for their class.) - A three-hole punch (a regular one or one that fits in a three-ring binder) - A pencil case that fits in a binder - Binder dividers (The kinds with pockets are good for loose papers.) - Pocket folders - Folders that fit in binders - Agenda/Planner - A calendar for scheduling assignments - A sturdy, supportive backpack (Some schools do not permit rolling backpacks because of space considerations, so check with your school before considering this option.) - Two combination locks (If the school lockers do not have built-in locks, you might need one for the hallway and one for the gym.) - Flash Drive to save any important documents STUDY AIDS - Index cards, ruled and unruled (These are great for making flash cards.) - Highlighters - A calculator (Check with the math teacher first before investing in an expensive one. Graphing calculators, for example, are required in many high school math classes. Teachers advise parents not to buy a calculator with more functions than students will use.)
