They are both cross town rivals teams, they both have have full time organist. The Chicago Cubs have a really old ballpark named Wrigley Field, and the White Sox have a much newer ballpark. The Chicago Cubs have a manuel scoreboard, and the Chticago White Sox don't. The Chicago White Sox have won a World Series in this cenuary, and the Chicago Cubs haven't. Currently the Chicago White Sox have 3 people in politics that are are fans of them, the Cubs only have an impeached governor, the 3 people that are in office that are White Sox fans are Mayor Daley, Governor Pat Quinn, and the President of the United States Brack OBama. The Chicago Cubs have restuarants outside of their ballpark where fan could go and get something to eat/drink, then what in the stadium, the White Sox they don't really have any restuarants right outside of their ballpark, and even try to think where is there nearest restuarant to US Cellular Field, besides the orginal location of Home Run Inn. Here are a few ideas, and you can always look up more their history for both teams at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Cub... and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Whi... . Good luck with your paper.

Amazing - giving up on a team that's 3 1/2 games out of first (or given you just asked this, a team that's down 1-0 in the first inning) is pretty sad. Especially when they are starting a 4 game series against the first place team today. In case you don't get the math - a Cubs sweep puts them in first place (depending on the Brewers as well.) But you're right - the Cubs are down 1-0 after 2 innings today. Might as well give up the rest of the season. Let me guess, you've been a Cubs fan for about 2 or 3 years. Because nobody that has been one much longer than that could possibly be so sensitive as to give up so easily. I hate to say it, but anyone that gives up that easily must be either an incredible pessimist or a complete wimp.

If Aramis can swing his bat like he should, the Cubs are still in okay shape to make a run, the central isn't very good, I mean the Pirates still aren't that far out yet. The Brewers still can't pitch and no one is around to protect Pujols in the lineup, so as long as those two teams stay good and not pretty good the Cubs will be fine, until Derek Lee breaks his wrist, and Soriano figures out a way to get two strikes in one pitch. Of course this would also involve everyone to stop making unnecessary hops over any railings.

Cubs fans are perpetually waiting until next year. I'll give 'em credit for staying optimistic even after being let down every summer.
