Why parent never satisfied for their kids?

Why parent never satisfied for their kids? Topic: how to make case study report

Question: I mean some kids are not meant to do good in academics, some are better in like Music,Art,Sports and etc. They can't expect kids who are good in this things are also good in academics.Even if we are good in academics,it's doesn't guarantee us to have a good work or better life for our future, like those score A* students, they only good in their academics but in term of socializing with people they are not good, how to work!?!?Even look at those singers, they have the talent and they success, but not all of them are smart.See,they even can success!and earn even more money!then the one who have a better grades. In my case,i'm not really those "very bad"grade kids...average mark i score C which is around 60%~ But in my school,i'm very famous with my art talent and music talent.I even post my music to YouTube and all my sketches to Deviant Art~I'm also appear in my school yearbook for my art success~but,it seems that my parent not even like happy about it,not everyone have the chance to appear in school year book i mean beside for year book class photo, other than that,i don't think we can like easily appear there~sigh...many of my friends said they wish to be like me good in this and that, but i don't feel proud at all.Parent just never satisfied with me!Why!?!??!?!? I realize i'm not smart ***,but do i give up?i did study and work hard,go to tuition and etc.Like people said, those who good in art mostly use most of their left brain(creativity),and its proven that people who is good in art not good in math, what to do?i maybe not smart now,but i can be smart later... Like my cousin,Jilly. She's not smart when high school, but look at her now in her University she score very good~See,what i see from here is support from parent, encouragement from parent, how parent understand the kids. Not when we score bad they scold and scold, its just make the kids upset like NOW me,and don't have the heart to even work harder next time.Even when i see my own grade i feel bad about it.Life is just unfair for people who have a good talent!

first of all! i'm sorry for your feeling down... it does seem to be upsetting when you try very hard to get a good grade and your parents scold you and say not good enough. also makes you question what the honest grade was when your parents got there report card? i do understand parents want there kids to do better in life then they have but seems like sometimes the ones who do get far with big jobs and house and such are never happy anyways! also, me, i work with many people with lots of collage and such who work under me at my job. not because im smarter but because im a smoother talk and am willing to learn anything! im not saying in no way school isn't very important, all im saying is school or anything in life, as long as you give your best, you did great! and if score wasn't what you wanted, you try till you hit your goal but don't be hard on your self with a "c" cause it is a passing grade and long as you get through all grades and get a diploma.... your a winner... and you may be a home designer or cloth designer or something artistic i bet. and that is were your talent is. or a music teacher or something good. i have much faith in you. parents are just trying to push harder. its what they do. don't take it to heart, just understand them and why they do it and just continue doing your best. im sure there very proud. they just don't show it well i suppose but for what its worth, im very proud of you in many ways, i think its cool how you set goals and then nail them. your no quiter and you always push your limit and most of the time pull it off. your a leader. not a follow person. your someone who lives proud and i wish more were like you. cheer up and after a few days, hopefully parents will back off and things will be as they were till next report card. hehehe smile and look forward to a better day! take care friend

Maybe your parents want you to continue your family business or become a businessman/woman. . . Try talk to them and say not all people are perfect, they might be good in something but bad in other things, tell them what is your future career. .. And also, give them some example of people who aren't good in academics but can success in their career. Besides that, tell them that academic achievements alone will not support you much in the future. . There are high level unemployment all around the world and most of the unemployed ones are those highly educated people who are only good in academics, they don't have a special skill to get a job or to do something unique but those who have special skills such as drawing, playing music etc. they don't need to worry about unemployment. . you know, you're lucky to have a good talent in drawing and music and life is not unfair for people who have good talent. . . I hope your parents can understand your feeling and you can appear in your yearbook again :)

You realize, millions of singers try and make their dreams become true: Like 10 actually do. Your parents knows that not many artists become famous until a very, very long time. Your parents are also probably worried that you won't get very far playing music. Good grades: CEO, doctor, lawyer, boss of a company, inventions, scientists, and other highly respected jobs. If you feel bad about your grades, you can try harder on your school work. Tell your parents you're trying your hardest in academics and scolding you doesn't help and makes you feel like a failure.

Follow your dreams, not your parents dreams. They had their chance, now it's yours. Focus on what you're good at and don't stress about what you're not. Talent far outweighs grades. One thing a lot of creative and successful people have in common is (they dropped out of, or didn't finish school. Heck, you have a whole lifetime of education, school is only a small part.

Parents are never satisfied with their children because: -They never want their child to stop trying to satisfy them as -If they are satisfied, we won't try harder -So they want us to try harder, thus never being satisfied. Read about this in an article before.. Most parents are like that, except those which understand how kids feel.. All you have to do is to explain how you feel, which I doubt most kids did. However, if they don't listen, I guess that can't be helped.. One thing, always try your best. Your parents always want you to try your very best, no matter scolding or not.

Watkin Originally Answered: How old do you have to be to not see a parent or go over on weekends?
I was in your shoes at 15 when my dad left my mother. I was very angry at him, not to mention he was being an all-out jerk. My mom "played by the rules" but he was very underhanded. At any rate, with my situation, I only went to him for the weekend two or three times. I quickly realized it was extremely unbearable, and made other plans. At 15, I was legally old enough to get a job (but w/ limited hours), so I got a job. I got involved in some things at school, I had a social life w/ my friends, and I was basically "too busy" to go over for the whole weekend. If you're 15, you don't have to park your fanny at your dad's all weekend. Just say, "well, I have to work Friday night, Saturday I have practice for such-and-such, then I'm going out w/ some friends, Sunday I'm going to church and then will be working on homework." You can let him know if he wants to be involved w/ you then he's more than welcome to stop by your place of employment to meet you for break time, or he can go to your games or whatever to cheer you on. If you're under 15, then start babysitting. Hey, I'm 30 now and my dad and I have a great relationship now. It's not perfect and he still knows he did us wrong ... but my dad has changed quite a bit. He can still be a jerk, but things are just different now than they were when I was in high school. I'm just telling you this to let you know it may not always be that way.
