This is a poem I wrote recently? Topic: How to write a number in a sentence
June 20, 2019 / By Marlyn
Question: Why weren't you there when I they made fun I thought you were my friend the one that's number one? I remember You were standing there watching from a distance like I wasn't there I thought you were my friend the one to lift me high the one that I could count on to repare my wings and fly. Dont you remember the times we sat on my bed? Talking about earlier times laying head to head Dreaming of tommarow and thinking of today Why did our close friendship slowly fade away? I leaned on your shoulder when my tears rolled town now all I see is your face not a smile but a frown I thought you would help me through the pressures in my life to be a better person to work hard and strive As I sit here with kids laughing at me were you my real best friend how could I not see then I feel a hand that reaches in utmost care I look up slowly to see who's standing there It's you I wrote this about That I thought didn't care I guess I was wrong you were standing there.

It's really pretty and tells a beautiful story, but it doesn't have a rhythm all the way through. You rhyme good, but some of the sentences have been separated for some reason while others have stayed on the same line. It really shows that you have a very touching heart which will revile some beautiful poems to us. Keep writing what means the most to you. Looking forward to reading your next poem. Good job!!

hey i like it, but i think a little change in the end could give the poem a better flow. How Many How many times can you Say I love you To the women who gave birth to you To the women who gives you advice And food and a warm dry place to live With caring loving hands that comfort you Shows you love everyday Through words or actions Knowing that she would risk Her life for yours To the women who gives you Money when need it or want it How Many How many times can you Say I love you To that special women Not enough I love you mom let me know wat u think..:-)

as a Mom who raised 5 kids... this ROCKS! I hope you gave this to her, it's one for her treasure chest!

kind our the rhyming scheme. the strains do not have to ALL rhyme, however no less than have a constant rhyme scheme and velocity, the rhythm being asymmetric can interrupt the drift of the poem and eliminate from its cosmetic. adorable in any other case =]
