Not only do we all benefit from having a lovely green area to enjoy, we’re a skip from Kelvingrove Park and Museum, The Gilmorehill Theatre, Glasgow University and the Hunterian, Great Western and Byres Road. Woodlands Road, Charing Cross, The Art School and the McLellan Galleries are all accessible within 5 to 20 minutes walk.

Travel

We have great transport links right on our doorstep, with a stop on Gibson Street and in the opposite direction, the stop next to Glasgow Uni’s Film and Theatre Studies Building. Kelvingrove Underground can be accessed either by walking down Otago Street or Park Road, or through the short cut down the stairs on the Gibson Street bridge.

Eating and Drinking

We’re so spoiled for choice on Gibson Street for watering holes and restaurants, that it’s difficult to remember that there’s a Glasgow outside of our little corner of the West End.

Further afield, there are more bars than you can shake a martini at on Ashton Lane and on Byres Road. There are other dining and drinking options a short walk through Kelvingrove Park
