Question: I have the same problem with the Warning Fatal Error!!! Wallpaper. I have Trend Micro Antivirus and didn’t find any infections. I really don’t know how this wallpaper got into my computer and it was not detected by my antivirus. I research how to get rid of that problem. I find a lot of spyware but you have to pay in order to delete the files on your computer. So I find this page and downloaded the Spyware Doctor and I was really tired with this problem because now my screen looks like and old computer screen. The colors and images look like you have like dialup internet with poor signal which make them look bad. I have speed internet with usually all my color and images were great. So I register and pay for the Spyware Doctor to delete this problem and scan my computer. It did find 9 threats and a lot of infections so I delete them. But at the end nothing happened. I still have the same wallpaper fatal error. Please help me!!!! I am tired of this problem.

Most computer errors are born in a part of your system which hardly anyone knows or understands - the registry. This is the central database of Windows, which actually stores some of your computer's most important files and settings. Everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper are kept in this database, making it one of the most used parts of the Windows system.Because it's used so much, the registry database is actually prone to becoming corrupt and damaged, which makes Windows struggle to read the files inside it. Unfortunately, 100's of registry files are corrupted every week and Windows has no way to protect against it - it's this problem which causes most of your computer's errors. The problem is that when these files are corrupted, your PC actually takes longer to read them and often can't read them at all. This causes errors on your PC which seem to appear randomly. You can use a Registry cleaner. http://cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com Registry cleaners are tools which have been created to scan through the registry. They work by scanning each file and then checking to see if it's corrupt or causing problems. If they find that it is broken, the registry cleaner will replace or fix the file for you to make your computer speed up and become free of errors. You should have a try! Good Luck!

Ah yes the dreaded fatal error. I see this a lot and it is almost always a problem with the Windows registry. These can be a real pain but thankfully the fix is really simple. Try the repair tool on the following site: http://windows-error-repair.org/error-li... That should get you up and running in no time. I hope it helps. Good luck.

Have you tried searching for rootkit. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin... Also here is a free, but a good antivirus http://www.free-av.com/en/download/index... Run the Rootkit revealer with the Anti-Spyware and Anti-Virus on and that might detect some new viruses/spyware previously unseen. Once you are sure your PC is clean, create a new account (that would create with default windows settings), copy all MyDocuments/Desktop files there (and also Application Data if you want to save Outlook Emails), login to the new account and delete the old. (Please make sure you have taken a proper backup of your files before you do this.

Antivirus I would recommend is Avast. I also recommend finding and installing Malwarebytes. Both programs are free. Scan with Avast first (boot scan), then with Malwarebytes to try and find the problem. If that doesn't fix it, try some computer forums, because those are the only two programs I ever needed.

DO NOT CLICK ON THAT! If you are running Windows, and anything above Windows ME, download AVG. It is free, and safe, and for the entire world to use. Right click on your slave (C:) in the My Computer. Get into the Tools menu. Select Disk Cleanup. Let it run, then go ahead delete files. Go to the Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel. Remove anything you don't need or can re-install. This may take a while. Restart your computer. Run AVG. Remove all unhealed infections. Restart. Then run anntivirus every day like an antibiotic as new profiles of threats come out in updates for AVG. Run everyday for about a month. You will ahve a better running PC. If your PC Crashes, start up in safe mode, and format hard drive after you take your persaonal files off. DO NOT FORMAT until you get what you need off the PC. You will lose everything. To do this you need the disk for your XP, 98, ME, Vista, whatever. Be careful. To format your hard drive, select delete partition. then save on new partition. You will see this come up when you get that far. Again... do not format until you have saved all of your personal belongings on floppy, CD-RW, USB or whatever.
