How can I professionally tell this lady how utterly disgusted I am with her?

How can I professionally tell this lady how utterly disgusted I am with her? Topic: How to write a courtesy call letter
June 26, 2019 / By Joy
Question: Back story: I rescue cats. I was helping this lady rehome 7 cats that would otherwise be killed. I lined up homes, all she had to do was setup a time for them to see or pick up the kittens. she never called them. wanted me to. So I again got them all lined up, setup times, and told this lady that on this day, I'm going to call you around 8am to setup a time to pick up the kittens. she agrees. Call, leave a message, call, leave a message. Nothing. So I had to contact all those homes and let them know. I can't do anymore at this point. she's basically killed them herself. Even if she promised to follow through, I don't have the time or patience to continue and I have other cats to focus on. I want to tell her how upset I am. I want to tell her how disgusted I am. I even found a place that would fix the cats for free and she couldn't do it. Is there away I can tell her off and still sound professional? or should I even care at this point? Now I got one of the potential owners all upset and yelling at me. :( I'm just letting her get it out and apologizing. bah

of course you should care, its only natural. I cant believe the way this woman behaved, all she needed to do was meet the people and hand the kittens over or at least have the courtesy to tell you the reason why she could not see anyone. I think you should write a polite but curt letter or e mail outlining the work and time you put in for her and her cats, explain that her cats have missed the chance of a loving home because she was too lazy to pick up the phone, also explain that during the time you were trying to get hold of her other cats have also missed getting rescued because of her selfishness. Hopefully her concience (if she has one) will come to the surface and make her a more selfless. Keep up the good work!

Well I think you just did a good job, now print this and send it too her. The really odd thing is that she can't keep the cats, so you would have thought she would have been thankful you did all her dirty work for her. You are right though, at this point, she really wouldn't comprehend it, if you told her off. I just wouldn't help her when she calls the next time.

You should just contact the animal precinct and file a report. And the cat's will be forcefully removed from her home. They will be fixed.

Bless you for the work you do! You need to let it go and save the cats that you can. Don't let anger distract you.

Since she's clearly uncooperative, lazy or both, you may have to sue her in civil court to force her to turn over the documents. Alternatively, you can hire a lawyer (for about $100) to write a letter demanding the documents or face legal action. People usually respond quickly to this tactic. Because dogs are considered property, you will not be awarded a full refund for the dog unless you return it to the breeder. If it turns out that she lied to you about the dog being AKC and can't produce documentation, you may be awarded the difference between the cost of an unregistered vs. a registered dog.
