Book Chapter In D. Palumbo (Ed.), 1988, Spectrum of the fantastic (pp. 219-223). Westport, CT. Greenwood. the author, the date, title, the pages, place of publication, and publisher. when it says evidence you need to say what page you got it from using the format above. you can look online for more citations if i didnt explain enough. The essential elements of a book chapter citation are: Book Chapter Title Book Chapter Author Title of the Book Author/Editor of the Book Place of Publication Publisher Date of Publication Chapter Page(s)

if you state any solid facts, you have to put where you got them from. such as: my favorite book is "A Seperate Peace", it was written in 1942 (there would be a small one near the top, but yahoo answers doesn't let you make them) (at the bottom of the page or on a seperate page) 1. Wikkipedia.com (or where ever you got you're information) if this didn't help go to this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citation

When writing you need to back-up your opinion or thought or fact with evidence, like a lawyer at trial. Generally using the MLA style of writing is acceptable. Check it out here:http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/557/01/
