Question: And by routine I just mean not doing the same exact thing everyday. I love math and recently became interested in business. I am in college now (Freshman) and am trying to decide on a major.

Economics and you could use this to try and become a stock broker which can be very rewarding but very very tiring work. Or perhaps you may just want to start your own business later in life in which case you could major in something that could give you an underlying knowledge of a certain industry for example, you could do chemical engineering which requires a lot of math and use the knowledge you gained to spot a niche for example a new or modified way of recycling paper. They are two very good skills that make you quite employable in the future.

Depends on your definition of routine. Take Auditing (accounting) you will be doing similar tasks but for changing clients and in different applications. Finance is the same, however in both of these careers you will progress and be constantly learning. I would say that finance would utilize more of your math skills.

hey there dude! well first of all, i think you should be my long lost twin brother, LOL we do the SAME stuff litterally! since I'm trying to change my own schedule too, I'll try to help you: however how come u wake at 11 and ur school starts and 7? how come you're 16 and you're going to college? lol anyway: 1) wake Up EARLIER: so u can do more stuff and kill you addiction to internet so 9 am: wake up 2) add some sports such as doing pushups and crunches. even though i never managed to stick to that routine, this can lead u to have a better physique! 9-10 am: breakfast then the sports routine 10-11 am: do some chores, homework, watch tv but do NOT touch the computer 11-12 pm: Lunch : having lunch separately from the breakfast also leads to a healthier lifestyle 1 pm - 3 pm: i noticed from ur profile pic that u play the keyboard, why not download some piano tutorial and learn new songs and covers? 3pm-5 pm: hang out with ur friends since u havent passed ur curfew: go to the mall, the movies, the beach , or even their own place or call ur 'out of town' friends 5-8pm: yes NOW IS THE TIME!: play on ur computer :) 8-when u sleep:dinner, studying, quality time with the parents,tv, .... I feel like I've got plenty of ideas to sharee with you, if you're interested just send me a message, you could even make a new friend lol good luck!

This is my typical school day. : ) 5:30AM ~ Wake up, make a cup of tea and turn on laptop and quickly read over emails 5:55 ~ Go for a run, if I'm going to or jump in the shower 6:15 ~ Get dressed and ready for school while half watching the news 6:30 ~ Check that everything's in my bag and throw it near the door 6:45 ~ Grab breakfast if I'm going to have it 6:55 ~ Play around on the computer 7:15 - 7:25 ~ Ring my Nana on my mobile as I'm running out the door and walk to school I get to school around 7:50, see my friends, hand in any forms, visit staffrooms if I need to, buy a bottle of water if I forgot mine and my classes begin at 8:05 School finishes at 2:50 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 12:55 Wednesday - Friday. Afternoons vary... I have weekly appointments on Wednesday afternoons, sometimes I take an extra tutorial class on a Thursday or stay back and get work done at the library or check in with my teachers about schoolwork etc. I'm going to be trying out for my school netball team, and that would have weekly games on a Wednesday and once a month I have a debate to prepare and present. So... Wednesdays exhaust me! In the evening: 4:00PM ~ Play around on my computer, facebook, IM 4:30 ~ Do chores - get washing off the line, do the dishes, quickly clean my room 4:45 ~ Begin easy homework tasks until Dad gets home at 6:15 6:15 ~ Take a break and grab an early dinner if I feel like it then 6:30 ~ Keep going with the easier homework tasks and other assignments / debates etc. 7:00 ~ Turn on the TV and watch the 7PM project 7:30 ~ Finish off homework and assignments needed to be done that day. It can take anywhere from half an hour to 5 hours (with 10 minute breaks every hour) depending on how busy I am. Depending on how important and stressed I am, sometimes I'll IM around this time... I keep my computer on throughout the day and I often pop online while doing other tasks even though I really shouldn't! 10:00 - 11:00 ~ Have a shower and go to bed! : ) And then it all starts again the next day
