Question: Are my chances of ever dating him gone? I had the end covered with a Kleenex. What do you honestly think the long term effects of this?

Well, if you like him, go for it. At least you already saw the gross side of him.. Who knows you could make that a joke later on and see what he thinks about it...

First of all, do your homework on it. STRETCHING (which is what it is, "gauging" is not a word) is not something to be taken lightly , it will be there for ever. Know what you're getting yourself into first. Second, have a valid reason for doing this. Don't do it because you want to look cool, or whatever, have a REAL reason behind doing it. Third, "stretching your ears" is exactly what it is. There is not really any other term for it. (You can leave out the "unreasonable sizing" part, since you don't plan on going too big). Buy the 10g jewelry and show her that it isn't too big and tell her you plan on stopping at that. Other than that, just be extra nice to her and offer to pay for your 'supplies'

im agreeing with Rachel. You should stick 2 piercings and/or tattoos you can cover up! I've got my belly pierced now & I want the world 2 know it & im 19 yrs old. Yet when I turn 44 or 67 it'll be totally covered. lol dont think about today's trends, think about tommorrow's consequences. There's a reason there's age limits on procedures like these!

honestly i think dat looks so ugly, BUT with strict moms its very hard bcus i have a strict mom 2. but the best thing you could do is be very very good and get really good grades for now then after you get your report card wit good grades n after she's seen how behaved u've been THEN you can ask her. dnt just clean your room n right after ask her she has to have that locked in her mind dat ur a good son and dat u deserve things. Now for wut u can say is dat u lyk how it looks n it shouldnt matter bcus its their your ears. also u should come up with da money for it so dat all u need is her permission. its your style & if u lyk it den u should b able to do it. *good luck*

Do not give up... That is the first and foremost thing you have to do. Now the next thing is promote, promote and promote. Think of as many ways you can of getting the word out. Find carpet sales shops and give them some cards, Dropping flyers every night and every morning, you may as well if you have no work. Advertising seems to take anywhere up to 8 weeks before things start to happen I have found in the past. Also carpet installers may be able to piggy back on a flyer with you or tell their customers about you, Keep learning and stay positive and just know it will work out.

Newspapers. ad space on your local cable company, and you may want to give out a few free demonstrations or set up a site in your area where you can show your work off and also keep the flyers going and keep making calls... just don't stop presistance pays off. Good Luck!!!
