Those who worship God or Jesus, worship the same in Spirit, but also the same in Truth?

Those who worship God or Jesus, worship the same in Spirit, but also the same in Truth? Topic: What should be mentioned in a personal statement

Question: Jesus tells us to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. My question is to bring out a little more of what this means. On worshiping God in Spirit (by any name for God) all sincere prayers do go to our one same loving Creator Father God. "Is a Rose, by any other name, less a Rose ?" But worshiping God also in Truth is a different issue. Who or what is Truth? How does that differ from Spirit ? Thank you for all sincere answers ! Peace and progress in Spirit and in Truth ! So far, there are many 3 star and 4 star answers; hoping for one or more 5 star answers. God on Paradise is Three Persons: God the Father Who is Spirit #1; God the Son Who is Spirit #2 and God the Infinite Spirit Who is Spirit #3. Here in our space-time universe made by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, God has no Personal Presence except in our Creator Son of God Jesus Christ. The fullness of God the Father (Spirit 1) is in Jesus Christ (Spirit 2) Who is here to us the Father-Son Union of Spirit 1 and 2 and He is TRUTH. The Holy SPIRIT (Spirit 3 here to us) is also One in Spirit with Father-Son Jesus Christ (#1 & #2 here) so that Union makes Jesus also (#1 and #2 and #3) here with us - the fullness of the Triune God here with us ! A simple explanation of the Existential Trinity God out in space-time here with us (and within all Spirit-led Truth lovers is: Three (on Paradise) as Two (in our universe) as Father-Son Union and then Spirit (#3) all as One in Spirit here. Use your words. (Continuing) He the Spirit of Truth (John ch 16) is not the same Person as the Holy Spirit. He the Spirit of Truth is Jesus Christ here as both God the Father and God the Son; and He the Father-Son works perfectly with the Holy Spirit. "How can this be ?" some ask. It is vital to comprehend that both Personality and Mind-Spirit relationships are transmissible by God. Jesus states that "The Father and I Are One; he who sees Me, sees Him Who sent Me. I AM the Way, the (Father-Son) Truth and the Light and Life Eternal here with you." Yes, God is Spirit and also Father-Son Truth Jesus here with us; and They all are as One Holy Father-Son-Spirit of Truth. Three in Two as One. Yes, each Person in the GodHead is infinite and infinitely complex. If God were small enough for our finite human understanding, He/They would not be big enough for our real needs. We are to worship God with our heart (spirit) and soul and mind --wholeheartedly. Use our minds also in Truth seeking & finding. Treetop, you mentioned "Brother Dave" as your source for your statements. That is not me. There must be many thousands of "Brother Dave" 's on the internet. We all should seek and follow our Eternally Sovereign Savior/Creator Father-Son Jesus Christ as The Source and Center of all Truth. Direct, personal God-consciousness; not second- or third-handed or more distant human opinions. Peace and progress !

I think a fresh look at what Yeshua said in John 4.21-24 may help: Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." NKJV Is this not saying that worshipping in truth, is knowing the One you are worshipping and that worshipping in spirit, is the only way to worship because God is Spirit? Yeshua said "I am .....the Truth......" "You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free" Thank you for the question.

I know the rote answer to this question but the truth is I have never been able to worship anything that walked on two legs and never shall. I think Jesus would be horrified at this practice too. The truth is, the so-called last generation passed away and the world did not end and the Jews still do not rule the world. I can never worship a racist God. I do not believe in such. My own God is much bigger than religion. Bigger than any 'Holy" books written by Man. Bigger than any tribe or people. There was no Chosen People. The Chosen are all of mankind. God speaks the truth in your heart. If a thing sounds foolish in your heart, how much more so is it foolish to God?

You posit an interesting and much fought over passage. The superficial meaning says that we have to abandon our bodies and sit around in our eternal but incorporeal spirits in order to worship God as Jesus directs we do. The problem arises because of the misunderstood statement in John that 'God is spirit.' A much better and clearer translation would be 'God is spiritual.' Then we could understand Jesus as saying, "You must be spiritual - or spirit-filled - to worship God, and you must do it with proper regard to God's Truth." Truth is whatever 'is' and nothing that 'is not.' The spiritually-minded, it seems, have easier access to God and the Truth about Him than do the non-spiritually minded. QUILL

First of all Jesus is the Truth , he made that Very clear . And the truth of whom Jesus is , said that no man gets to the father but by Him or Christ . This also means that no prayers get to God , other than by Christ . In the old testament the priest had to be covered with blood , before being able to stand before God and pray and get forgiveness for the people . No man comes to the father not unless they come through the truth of whom Christ is . Christ it the truth and the only true way . So to worship God in truth is to believed the words of God which is Christ , who was the word made flesh . Abraham who started the turn back to God , did that way believing Gods word , which is Christ , and the only truth , of whom eve rejected the truth . And this was counted to him for righteousness , because Abraham believed the truth , which was the word of God , of whom is Christ . So For us to worship God , in our spirit , , our Spirit has to have the holy Spirit , and the only way we can have that is if as Jesus said we abide in his word , which is the truth . So the truth is the word of God , which is Christ , the word made flesh , and the only way we can worship God is in Christ who is the word and the truth . And if you give me a thumbs down , then you do not know the truth , and have rejected the truth . Jesus said man does not live by bread alone but by ever word of God . The Christ Said I am this bread , that come down from heaven . So we have to eat the truth , who is Christ , who is the word , and the word come forth from the father . So to reject the word of God is to reject Christ , that is what Jesus said if you keep my word and comamdments you shall dwell in me .

i think of that this could be a pretend impact. maximum Christians who're undemanding of their ideals, and truthfully understand what they are asserting, do no longer make this declare...properly, no longer technically... Muslims worship Allah - the only God, as professed by utilizing Muhammad. Christians worship one God, as professed by utilizing the Jewish prophets and later by utilizing Jesus and the apostles. Christianity finally has its roots in Judaism, so technically the disagreements could commence there: Isaac and Ishmael. Christians believe in the Trinity, that's an extremely complicated concept that maximum Christians have a stressful time understanding, no longer to show attempting to describe to somebody else. So please forgive me if i do no longer do it ok. that's the perception that there is ultimate summed up in the word: "God is one in 3 and 3 in a single." that's quite worry-free to fall into heresy in this subject remember, yet in fact it says that there is in basic terms one God, and that's the God of Abraham. yet he has 3 "persons": Father, Son (Jesus), and Spirit. each and every "guy or woman" has their very own features, and that they are all distinctive. yet they do no longer look to be separate entities. there's no longer something in the human worldwide that could properly be accurately used as an analogy, yet some theologians have used the relation of the three interior of one God as being like the techniques, will, and spirit interior of a guy. There are problems with this analogy, besides the incontrovertible fact that it will could do for now. besides the undeniable fact that the be conscious "trinity" in basic terms isn't got here across in the Bible, many Christians will use passages from Genesis and the Psalms, besides as countless prophets to help the assumption of a trinity in the Jewish books, written till now Jesus grew to become into born. My apologies; finished books have been written in an attempt to describe the Trinity, that's not worry-free to purpose to describe this variety of complicated subject remember so quickly.

Problem is that worship has been redefined by Christianity in the last 40 years to mean something totally different from what the Bible says. The first mention of worship in the Bible is Abraham walking towards the mountain and saying to his servant, "You remain here and I an the lad will go yonder and we will worship..." So what was Abraham and Isaac going to do on that mountain? Strum a guitar and sing chorouses?

just get a book online or whatever written by a Buddhist monk in simple form of English or any language you prefer. simpler the better... after that get more books and through many years, you'll realize things... the point is Buddhism is not easily absorbable... you have to use your brain a lot, think and ask questions and try to answer your questions/doubts by yourselves or seek from the knowledgeable... and do some meditation: breathing meditation is simplest and generally easiest. search 'breathing meditation Buddhism' online. and practice it often. it's actually easy that you just try to keep noticing your breathe inhaling and exhaling and how the air touches you nostril in and out and know ... try to know who the Buddha is, what the Dhamma is and who the Sangha are. try to understand what the mind and the body are these are most basic knowledge for everyone
