Question: Can you start a company, be the sole employee, and then have the company relocate you elsewhere? Would that work out financially betty for you than to just hire a moving van and relocate elsewhere?

The assets of the company comes from the investors and from operations. Is the plan to start the business for the sole purpose of moving? If you start a company there are administrative responsibilities that will take time and financial expenditures required, business registration fees, etc. Depending on how your organize the business there might be tax obligations too. Except for some tax deductions that might apply, on which I am not qualified to comment, I don't see any benefit to doing what you suggest. I don't believe that the tax deductions could offset the costs of starting a business.
