THe general form is therefore -12+11n (2) tan x = (sqrt(3))/3 so x = pi/6 + n pi (3) Every term adds 0.3 to the previous one so tn = 5 + 0.3 (n-1) and the next term is 6.2 (4) sin x = 1/2 and so x is pi/6 or pi-pi/6 = 5 pi/6 (5) 0.555... = 5 (1/10 + (1/10)^2 + (1/10)^3 + ...) = 5 (1/10) / ( 1 - 1/10) = 5/9 (6) sin θ = 10/26 so θ=22.62 degrees i.e. approximately 23 degrees (7) The amplitude is 5 (8) The total number of apples is 1+4+9+16+25 = 55
