Question: I used to be able to edit the info, but now it doesn't let me. When I try to edit the info on my phone it doesnt show a music list, even though I sync it, it still wont show a song list or anything. It wont even let me get info. Has anyone ever experienced this, Does anyone know how to fix this.

Missing info: type of computer (model and processor speed). ALL OF THESE are the iPhone G4 system requirements * Mac computer with USB 2.0 port * Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later * iTunes 10.1 or later (use Software Update after installing OS 10.5.8) * iTunes Store account * Internet access To Steve: You can't assume her Mac is G3. Could be anything from the February 2000 PowerBook G3 Firewire to the Mid 2007 Intel Macs.

The REAL problem is the people that sold you the iPhone 4 should have also told you that your Mac computer must have OS X Leopard (10.5), or higher, installed, so that iTunes 10 will recognize your iPhone 4. You only have OS X Tiger (10.4), meaning, it's an older Mac. So, to upgrade from Tiger, buy the Snow Leopard Boxed Set ($ 129), which also includes the latest iLife and iWork, so it actually is a worthwhile OS X upgrade. Then, you can upgrade to latest version of iTunes 10, and your iPhone will work perfectly. This is the smartest solution, and, honestly, you should have been upgrading OS X all along. FYI: "Jail-breaking" is the worst solution. BTW, Snow Leopard runs way faster with 2 GB of System RAM, a necessary hardware upgrade. Your circa 2007 Intel Mac likely only has 1 GB of RAM. TIP: The iPhone, and the Mac, System Requirements were likely listed on the iPhone 4's packaging, so you shouldn't lay all the blame on the Sales Staff.

iTunes 10 will support a Mac with a PowerPC G4 processor. This means a Mac that is ten years (or more) old. Do you mean to say that you have managed to get a G3 Mac to run OS X 10.4? What is stopping you from downloading iTunes 10? What are you not telling us?
