Should I let my 12 year old daughter have a boyfriend? Topic: We must do our homework online
June 19, 2019 / By Garth
Question: Last week when I went to pick up my daughter from school. I seen her kiss another boy. I fliped out, and had a talk with her, that I don't want her to have any boyfriends. She got mad and yelled at me! ...Then yesterday, she told my older sister...because she love's to talk to her aunty about everything. Anyway...when she told her ,she told me about it. She say's i'm crazy! And I'm not being fair on her. I got mad and told her I'm scared of her getting knocked up. Then she just shake her head and walked off. Is she right??...I mean...I'm I doing the right thing, by not telling her to have a boyfriend?? Or do you think, I should let her?

Don't be so overreacting to such things! And DON'T listen to those "parents" who forbade their 12-YO daughters from having a BF!...they're terrible at parenting! My daughter Michaela never HAD a BF at that age, and it was HER choice, not mine!...although I must admit, I was disappointed to this day about her decision...she's almost 14 now, and wants to wait until after high school( not even attending her prom???) to find the right guy... She puts partial blame on watching all those "Maury" episodes where "Who's your baby's DADDY?"...that was enough for her to declare that dating guys(regardless of age) is not for her!...too bad... My 15-YO son, Hathaway, OTOH, wants to have a GF, but can't find the right one to date...anywhere in our county! He doesn't trust all the online dating services(and our church, either!)... I'm not a bad parent, but I'm worried about my kids' future in the social world(yes, they do volunteer at our local historical museum every week), but when it comes to "family outings", they'd rather finish their homework(which is good) then go have fun at the park... That's my story...

If they aren't having sex: It is legal to date as long as they are not having any form of sexual contact. Is she keeping up with her studies? Attending school? Acting appropriately other than that? If he's not causing her to act badly, I don't see what the problem is. I dated a 19 yr old when I was 14 and 15. He helped me with homework, repeatedly convinced me not to skip school, encouraged me to do well in school and made me realize that while I may not always agree with my parents they do love me and have my best interest at heart. Age of consent is 16 for sex and 18 for anal sex in Australia. So, unless they are having sex (and will admit to it) nothing illegal is going on. http://www.ageofconsent.com/australia.ht...

You're doing what any parent would do, so don't be so hard on yourself. I'm fourteen years old, and my parents would freak out if I wanted a boyfriend before I went to college. Anyways, take some time off to think about how responsible your daughter is. Is she doing good in school, is she normally obedient, and does she keep herself grounded? If she's a responsible and mature person at the age of twelve, then go ahead and let her have a boyfriend. Maybe you can go meet the boy yourself and meet his parents. At the age of twelve, most kids just want to experience love. They don't know the full extent of a relationship, so chances are that your daughter is still very innocent about this. If you're really concerned that you're daughter is going to get into some kind of trouble, sit down with her and explain to her why you feel that way. Tell her that you don't mind her having friends, but you don't want it to go past that. Let her know that it may be too early, and when she grows a bit older, she can have a boyfriend. Your daughter is growing, and she's going to be having different viewpoints than you. Get used to it, and don't be so hard on yourself or her. Show her that she can trust you, and that you want what is best for her! Good luck :)

WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU HAVING A 12 YEAR OLD DATE???? Are you planning on being a grandma soon? Have you talked to her about sex? how to use a condom? have you taken her to the GYN for an exam and birth control pills? If any answer is NO, then this BABY should NOT be dating. She is far too young and immature to make the 'responsible decision'. sure, she will tell you yuck to sex. Would she tell you sex is good? no way! And 15 year old boys have raging hormones. And just the right setting, the boy pressuring her to do something that feels good. Will she know how to say no? or will she fall into HER hormones and do 'what feels good'.

I think you should let her. In the end she will have a boyfriend if she wants unless you are prepared to home school her and not allow her to leave the home you need to establish a trust. Let her know you trust her enough to make the right decisions. But educate her! Too many kids don't know about sex and don't understand how easy it is to get pregnant. All you can do is talk talk talk. Make sure she feels comfortable enough to come to you if something comes up :i.e. thinking od having sex, boyfriend pressuring for sex? Now is the time to establish the bond. If you tell her No she can't have a boyfriend she will take the attitude that you don't understand you have never been in her place, your ruining her life, you don't trust her and the list goes on. And for sure make sure you meet the boy and ask her what she likes about him. Good Luck!!

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOngT Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.

If you'll need a good solution for anyone how getting started with collection then to kick-start your success with girls you will require this information the Tao of Badass from here https://tr.im/gdpA4 Everything required to learn you will discover in that book: interest, rapport, seduction and connection balance With the Tao of Badass you will learn that final accomplishment involves people who can “begin to see the matrix” which as Joshua Pellicer, the guy behind this book, puts it, is seeing which phase of the place of interaction you're in although you are inside and after you know what period you are in, you'll understand how to successfully steer your method to the next.

Well, I think that as long as she's only seeing this boy at school, how much trouble could they get into? I think you should allow her to continue "dating" this boy, because she'd probably just do it behind your back anyway. As long as they're only seeing each other at school and not actually going on dates or hanging out at his house, it should be fine and they'll "break up" within the next few weeks. If you don't want her to get pregnant, don't let there be any opportunity for her to be having sex.
