Airhead by Meg Cabot Fans? Topic: How do you write a critique paper
June 25, 2019 / By Isabelle
Question: I recently read The books Airhead and Being Nikki by Meg Cabot. I loved them! I absolutely adore Chistopher, and I don't think there is enough of him in the books so I'm attempting top write a little fanfiction about how he deals with the death. If you could please read this and tell me if it is any good and critique it ect. (please be honest) I will be eternally Grateful!!!! Please & Thanks in advance!!! DISCLAIMER: These characters and Iideas are not mine, they belong the the Almighty Meg Cabot. *this is the scene where Christopher finds out that Em is dead" The background noise at the hospital terrifies me, the constant beeping, the doctors’ swift steps, even the once comforting clicking of keyboard keys. The waiting room is almost empty, it being almost 1 in the morning. Most of the others in here are dozing, but there is no way I will be able to slip into slumber after the previous day’s events. Em, the girl I could do anything with, say anything to is barely here, she’s in a coma, on the brink of leaving this world. This thought made tears flow to my eyes, I blinked them back, and chanted mentally to myself-as if it would help-‘she will be all right’ over and over. But I’m not stupid; I know her chances of surviving are slim if not none. I’ve been sitting in this chair for hours straight, hearing barely anything of the person I... Suddenly, a dejected and frazzled looking Mrs.Watts walked into the room and said, in a barely audible whisper, “She’s gone.” That was when I bolted upright, ran out of the room, into the hall and to the door. I exited the hospital, just barely not crashing into the slow automatic door, trying to get as far away as possible. From there I sprinted toward my apartment, it wasn’t far and I could still find my way, even in the dead of night. But inside I felt lost, like I was drowning, a black hole forming where my heart used to be. When I burst through the front door my day put down the paper he had been solving a crossword in and asked, “Any news?” I barely heard him, and walked to my room and threw myself, face down, onto my impeccably made bed and tried to put all thoughts of this living hell out of my mind. But I couldn’t, because Emerson Watts was dead. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I read Airhead a while back and I really, really enjoyed it. I haven't read "Being Nikki" yet, but I plan to. Sounds just as good. But, after I read the second book I know I'll be excited for the third one. No idea on when it comes out thought, sorry hun. ( =

Listen, you need to take all your books, and put them into storage for a long, long time. These books will distract you in college. Why not read some classic literature if you want to keep reading? War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy is 1204 pages. That should keep you busy for a while. Plus, it is college-leveled, so you will brush up on your college material?

Ah, so there was a question in there. Well, I say to keep reading. It's a rare feeling to have that kind of book addiction. She has many, many more books out there. There's also a lovely little thing called fanfiction, in which, you can read your favourite stories but by someone else and with their own spin. These are extremely satsifying and can really be fun for your imagination. You can filter out a kind of story you want to read (Romance between the main characters for instance?) Mediator Series FF: http://www.fanfiction.net/book/Mediator/ Airhead FF: http://www.fanfiction.net/book/Airhead/ And much more, of course. You could also drop her an email. She has a diary that she updates constantly: http://www.megcabot.com/diary/ and much more on that website of hers. You can also track her every move - what books she is releasing from that website... If then you are still not fully satsified, I would suggest finding more fans and talking about her with them. Isn't that the beauty of the Internet - to find so many people to talk to? You can even drop an email with me if you want, Imafan<3 Hope this ended up being helpful~<3

A really great, addicting fantasy series is the the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobbs: Assassin's Apprentice Royal Assassin Assassin's Quest I couldn't put these books down. Highly recommended.
