Can dr's call grandparents to pressure parents to get children vaccinated?

Can dr's call grandparents to pressure parents to get children vaccinated? Topic: M&a research report
June 20, 2019 / By Helena
Question: We told our dr we wanted to do a little more research before getting out daughter vaccinated. He then gave us about a 20 min speech I would classify as bullying and threatening now we found out he called the mothers mom and told her to talk some sense into us. Is this legal ? What about dr patient confidentiality? Do t bother replying if your going to tell me I'm a bad parent for not vaccinating I don't care what you think about that.

Your doctor is in in the wrong if he did that. That is a violation of HIPPA. He should be reported to the medical board. We too are a non-vaccinating family. No judgment here :)

Depends on each situation. I come from an abusive childhood that went on until I moved out at 18. Plus I was sexually abused (raped) from the age of 9-12 by a family friend & one of his family members. Often a child in an abusive situation imagines the time they are able to escape on their own or at least most do. But others are pretty much held captive by the control the abusers have. Brain washed pretty much. I will admit thoughts of violence against those who hurt me were in my mind. That is natural. But to act on them is completely different. Due to my abusive past, years in therapy & even time in a mental hospital twice I have been interested in the effects child abuse has on kids. The out comes are often very different. Which I find almost fascinating. Some come out of it seeking revenge. I had a friend who was beaten by his father. He couldn't wait to the day when he could fight back and "do some real damage". He did too & moved out never to return. Those who do seek revenge though are by law committing a crime. Walking up to sleeping parents and kill them or the one parent is MURDER. Abuse or not. I know of one story of a sexually abused girl sitting in wait for her father to come to his master bathroom after work. When he did walk in, she shot him. She was charged with murder because she planned it ahead of time. But, another case I read talked about a young boy around the age of 3-4. This was in a book called "Kids who kill" http://www.amazon.com/Kids-Kill-Charles-... The young boy picked up his fathers gun when his dad was beating his mom. The young boy shot his father. When asked why he said "My daddy was going to kill mommy." He wasn't charged. Would think though the law that applied to wives who kill an abusive husband is the same for kids who kill abusive parents. But each situation has to be looked at & examined. The pain of abuse goes far more deep than the bruises it leaves. I'm 36 & while I feel free from all that happened to me it does come back. It took years to leave that anger behind. It has made me who I am today & I am not ashamed of that for anything. But the pain is there. Those who linger in the pain for to long will be more likely to act out & hurt the one who hurt them. Killing is not the answer & it breaks my heart some kids feel that is the only way out.

I think many people who deem the murder of an abusive parent wrong is because they only view the consequence on its own without the full magnitude of the cause. See many people mistake death as the ultimate violation to a human being, but how many of you would rather die vs suffer? I've been a victim of severe abuse for over 10 years (25yr old now), and I can tell, you will not think murdering is wrong after suffering at the hands of genuinely debilitating abuse. Others might say, "get over it, or forgive him". But how are u supposed to forgive or get over someone that is persistantly attacking you?? I know that easily, if there was a button that would end my fathers life right now, i would push immediately and have a party afterwards.

People who truly abuse their kids deserve and need to die. There is no rehabilitation for someone who is evil enough to beat or rape children. Might as well eliminate them from the face of the earth so they don't have the chance to harm more children. So yeah, if someone kills their parents out of self defense, or kills them because they are truly suffering from violent abuse, I really can't blame them and they honestly did do the world a favor. Obviously this doesn't include the psychotic kid who killed his parents just because they took away his video games.

I see your point, vaccines are thought by many to cause serious health issues... My sister has 3 kids whom she homeschool,s and she chose NOT to get them vaccinated. Heres the problem I saw with her decision and yours. My neice ended up with scarlet fever a couple years ago....uh yea..scarlet fever...something that really isn't seen anymore, and I think its a lot to do with the vaccination thing, other than that they seem perfectly healthy. Of course, vaccines are required for public school, but to answer your question..no..you cannot be forced to vaccinate...if you have a good reason. But make sure you are making the right choice because it is your childrens lives, not yours.

kids got talent!! very few people are like that, of which i know, their fictional characters like Sherlock Holmes, hurcle Poirot and that guy from the tv series "the mentalist". even though these people are fictional, but their often inspired by true and real people...they just pay attention to the details we normal people dont pay attention to or care about...how about watching a movie called "good will hunting" ull know what i mean...
