How would you describe the politicization of gay men and lesbians? Topic: Essays about oppression
June 19, 2019 / By Isolde
Question: I'm writing a short essay for my government class on the subject, but I'm not really sure how I would describe it in a paper. I understand what politicization is, and I think I understand what the question is asking, but I'm not sure what I should say about it. By the way, if it helps it's a three-part question, the other two parts are what issues are not important to gay and lesbian political groups, and what issues will be important in the future.

"Politicization" means, I think, "make political," as we gay men and Lesbians were, perforce, made political by the official oppression and discrimination of the society we were born into, which has seen fit to deprive of us of our most most basic rights and liberties solely on account of who we are. Hopefully, the long ages of oppression are over, and with them the necessity of gays' and Lesbians' politicizing themselves.

Talk about the lesbian who wanted to take a female date to her prom and how she was made a pawn in the national debate even though that was not her intention.

Close the tap, and run some water into the top of the burette.Swish the burette up and down to let the water clean all the inside of the burette .Open the tap, and let the water drain out. Repeat. 2. Fix the burette into the clamp, taking care that it is vertical and stable Put the beaker underneath the burette .3. Close the tap and (using the funnel) run some of the acid into the top of the burette.Open the tap, and let the acid drain through into the beaker. Repeat. 4. Close the tap, and fill the burette to just above the 0cm3mark with the acid.Remove the funnel. Make sure that there are no air bubbles inside the burette.Slowly open the tap, and let the acid run down to the 0cm3mark. Close the tap. 5. Remove the beaker.Put a white tile under the burette, and put a conical flask on top of the white tile.Adjust the height of the burette so that the tip is just above the lip of the conical flask. The burette is now ready for use.
