Question: So, I have been wondering this...I was starving myself, eating optionally only sometimes peanuty, sometimes yoghurt, or sometimes a little meal which supposed to be lunch and nothing else. And sometimes nothing for two days. But I steppend on scale, and instead of seeing I've lost tons of weight, I've lost like almost only 4lbs.WHY?I know, maybe metabolism slowed down, but honestly, I was thinking and hoping that cutting down food to absolute minimum will have some effect.Yes, It had. I passed out, I was dizzy, and as I was working out on eliptical for only 20 minutes, I woke up the next morning with feeling that my heart will completely stop and I couldn't breathe and get up.But, to put that aside. I'M JUST scared that if I'll eat I won't lose weight so fast and effectively.I don't know. I NEED HELP, PLEASE! Would eating three small meals(yes, may sound little, but my stomach obviously had shrinked and if I eat anything in normal size, I'm feeling sick) throughout the day and working out help me lose weight better, FASTER, more effective than starving?CAN someone please write it down all of that to me?I would be happiest.You know, what to eat, exercise, drink, how to motivate, and everything, like facts and something like that, all of it connected with losing weight. Please don't starve yourself to lost weight, there's a much safer way! Not to mention starving yourself actually doesn't help at all. You lose weight when your body burns more calories than you eat, and when you starve yourself, you're in-taking less calories, sure, but less calories mean less energy. Less energy means a slower metabolism, which actually slows down the amount of calories your body burns!! All you have to do is balance your calorie intake with the amount of calories your body burns. This means the more you're active (Doing anything, really. Even tapping your fingers along to some music can burn a few calories) the more you get to eat and STILL lose weight.

Just to add one or two. How can I lose 10 pounds in one week!? A: You can't unless you want to gain it all back once you start eating/drinking again. How can I lose weight fast!? A: You can't lose weight fast and keep it off, or in a healthy manner. Healthy weight loss is around 2 pounds a week unless you are in the obese categories in which case it can come off faster. Is the safe to only drink water for a week and how many pounds will I lose? A: No it's not safe and you won't lose anything significant. In fact you might do irreversible damage to your organs.

lol good post, doing a little of you own research goes a long way people. I am completely self taught and at 6'6, 195 lbs, and very cut I think I have done a decent job. Just get some motivation and go after it, otherwise quit pretending like you want to.

Seriously, these kids on here don't even know how to use Google or the search function. Also, I am tired of seeing people post how many ab workouts they do a day and still don't have six packs.

Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and be active , you will not have problem losing some weight. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
