Question: why can't God take the Evil out of this world and Why does he let people get sick or hurt and sometimes die? I may have the answer to all this, if you want to hear it. It may be surprising to some, or may make them think on how they've been acting toward God. God made us rightly, but we brought upon ourselves a multitude of evils. Seeing so many of the evils that flow from our sinful condition, some have grown weary and bitter and have criticized God and complained of His ways, or have even denied Him. Much of the human history is heavily marked with suffering and grief. Much of the Sacred Scripture itself is a record of human sorrow. Though the books of Scripture recall the vast mercies of God and are source of boundless hope and confidence in Him, they are also starkly realistic in noting the tragedies and afflictions the flesh is heir to. But the Scriptures remind us that God does not love human suffering. The person of faith knows that God is infinitely good, that He wills and causes endless blessings for us, and that He does not will any evil at all as inflict punishments, but this is always in the service of the greater good. Most of you say if God is all powerful and good he would remove all evil from the earth, would make us robots. Not all of us react to ills and sufferings the same way. More than a few persons have cited the presence of evil in the world as their reason for denying the very existence of God. Perhaps some of the good things God wills to be in this world could not be here without a real risk of genuine evils. The God who gives men freedom "neither wills evil to be done nor wills evil to be done, but He wills to permit evil to be done, and this is a good." And when evils are brought into creation through abuses of the freedom God gives to us, He promises to turn everything toward good. "We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him." An illustration of this is the central event of salvation history: God forbade the malice of His enemies, the treachery of Judas, and the sins of all the world- and yet the bitter passion which resulted from all these was at the same time the greatest act of love and generosity ever known, and was the redemption of the world. This is called Divine Justice. God is Just. Scripture teaches that no one is to be punished because of the sins of his or her parents; it is for his or her sins that person incurs punishment. (Jer. 31.29-30). Original Sin weakens us and inclines us to sin, but it is not personal sin in the descendants of Adam. Those who die in original Sin, but without having committed any personal grave sins, will not suffer pain of damnation for that. The losses that we incurred as a result of Original Sin are not losses of anything due to man by right. These losses, then, are not of unfair chastisement by God. the gift of intimate, grace-stirred friendship with the Lord is more than human nature could expect on its own. Freedom from death and from the sufferings that seem to flow from our creaturely state is no clear right of ours. That we have been created at all, and have been given hope, is God's great mercy, the Creator's own free gifts to us. There is a special bitterness in the free and malicious hatreds, betrayals, and ingratitude of life. The history of the world is a record of sorrows, of sorrows arising from evils that need not have been. Our Sins are not predetermined and inevitable. God gives us freedom, and it is we who choose to abuse that gift by sinning, "Let no one say when he is tempted, 'I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted with evil and He Himself tempts no one." Well, Of course God made everything, but man sinned and that means evil came into the world by one man. Actually Satan sinned first but you could say that God created the opportunity for him to sin. Why do you think an omnipotent, omiscient God allowed Satan to rebel in the first place? Better yet, why do you think God didn't just start over after Adam and Eve ruined his plans for a perfect society? Why do you think an omnipotent, omiscient God allowed Satan to rebel in the first place? This is the biggest issue with the whole bible, and christianity. If you say that God is all powerful, and that there isn't anything he can't do.. Why did he then (if he created everything) create men on earth which were evil in their nature (at least after a while) and began to both destroy themself and everything else on earth, if god was allpowerful, he should have been able to create humans who did not have any hate in them and nothing of evil at all. But since thats not the case, that only leave's us with two possible answers: 1) Good isn't all powerful and was never able to create a perfect world, and the statement's in the bible most is obviously wrong. 2) The worst one, God is evil. If God had all the powers in the world to create whatever he'd wanted, why did he create a humanity which has so many bad sides about them, like killing each other, killing other animals, torture, rape and everything like that. If God truly is allpowerful and have the abilty to create whatever he want, then God must, without no denying be the biggest sadist in the enitire world. Your saying that if there’s too much good or too much evil, then it wouldn’t be “specifically interesting”. Well, so what? (Forgive me if that comes across as rude.) Just because it wouldn’t be interesting doesn’t mean that it is logically impossible. Tell me why it is logically impossible for there to be all good or all evil. God is all good. Why Can’t he be? Man is all evil. Why can’t he be? Give me a logical reason that makes it impossible.

Affrikah Originally Answered: Why do these stupid ppl think that the BIBLE is evil? Are there really people like that in the world?
They are people who have ACTUALLY READ the Bible. You should do the same. It is evil and illogical and immoral and full of lies. JESUS GIVES IMMORAL ADVICE "For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death" - Jesus Christ, Mark 7:10. JESUS HAS YOU TORTURED FOR ETERNITY "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." - Jesus Christ, Mark 16:16 JESUS IS VIOLENT "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes." - Jesus Christ, Luke 12:46-48. JESUS DEMANDS HATE "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." - Jesus Christ, Luke 14:26 JESUS WAS KNOWN WORLD-WIDE Jesus' fame "went throughout all Syria" (Matt 4:24), and "all Galilee" (Mark 1:28). Why didn't some of those people write of him? JESUS IS VIOLENT "And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple [Jesus whipped them! ], and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables." - John 2:15 BIBLE ZOMBIES "Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour..." "and the earth did quake" "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose" "And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many." - Matt 27

It would take a very radically new and unique answer to surprise me. I've heard all the blame the victim and there is no God answers. How about this -- God has all of eternity to pass so God created a story to fill the time. We are the characters in this story. Any good yarn needs some conflict, some obstacles to be overcome, some drama. Yep as expected you went the tired old blame the victim route. By your logic if God is infinitely good and his mercies vast, how can he allow us to suffer? why would he put conditions on our salvation? the least enlightened thing you said was "Most of you say if God is all powerful and good he would remove all evil from the earth, would make us robots." where's the logic in that? Removing evil would make us robots!! How? Wouldn't we still be organic life forms?

You ask an age old question that King David also asked. God told him that he should not be overly concerned about evil doers because they WILL be judged. Their success is only temporary and short-lived. Eternity is much longer. As far as sickness, etc is concerned, we live in a fallen world. Our genetic makeup is far from perfect, and sickness, disease, illness, etc, was introduced when the first man disobeyed God and gave satan the driver's seat of this planet, so to speak. The day WILL come, and you can bank on this, that Jesus WILL return, and He'll put ALL things to right. He COULD stop all evil right now. He COULD get rid of all murders, thefts, liars, child abusers, spouse abusers, haters, greedy people, etc, by eliminating every selfish person from the face of the planet. My question to you is, how many people will be left? Will YOU? But as one person said it, "When the author of the play comes on to the stage, that's the end of the play." Instead, God is sending people into the world to win them over to God's side, thus eliminating the sin from within the heart, rather than eliminating the sinner himself. I once was like that, but by His grace, He saved me, rescued me from my sins and their eternal consequences in hell forever, adopted me into His Forever Family, and has sent me out to share this glorious good news with others. So, I will share the same good news with you, too, just in case you've never heard it before: God loves you, and He isn't holding any personal grudges against us for the things we've done wrong. He is ready, willing, and able to forgive anyone who humbly comes to Him and asks Him to. If you will put our trust in the vicarious death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died to pay the penalty for YOUR sins, and allow Jesus to be the Lord (boss) of your live, then He will forgive you, clean up your heart and give you a brand new heart (spiritually speaking), adopt you into His Forever Family, and then when your body finally dies, He'll give you a brand new incorruptible body and take you to live in His home (heaven). If this isn't good news, then I sure don't know what is. :-) God bless you as you consider the things I've shared here, and have a great day today.

sure - God does enable suffering to ensue. this would not propose, whether, that he reasons suffering. If we check out Ecclesiastes 9:eleven, we see that "time and unexpected occurrences befall us all". additionally, if we examine a million John 5:19, we see that the "entire worldwide is mendacity interior the ability of the depraved one". this might seem slightly a worrying fact, yet as quickly as we check out the undertaking of the worldwide on the 2nd it particularly is wise. Why else could the worldwide be so finished of hatred, deceit and cruelty, if it replaced into no longer being controlled by potential of somebody who's himself hateful, deceptive and harsh. the subsequent question could be why God helps all this suffering. the respond might properly be got here across at 2 Peter 3:9, the place it says "God isn't sluggish respecting his promise, as some people evaluate slowness, yet he's affected person with you because of the fact he would not choose any to be destroyed yet desires all to realize to repentance." From this verse we are able to be sure that God has allowed the suffering to proceed to permit as many people as a threat to get to understand him. If he had destroyed Adam and Eve as quickly as that they had sinned interior the backyard of Eden, none people could be alive at present. If he had destroyed depraved mankind some years in the past, we nonetheless would not be alive. we've a decision at present to serve him interior the way he merits to be served or no longer - and if God had already taken action that determination would not be attainable to us. with connection with the 2nd section, asserting that God helps something to ensue, even although he does have the ability to stop it from occurring, would not propose that he's inflicting it to ensue. It in basic terms potential that it is not however the in basic terms right time for him to fulfill his promise. If we examine Isaiah sixty 5:17, we see that God will create a clean heavens and a clean earth, and the former issues isn't called to innovations. So no rely how lots suffering a man or woman is going by way of now, interior the destiny it won't difficulty him in any respect.

The challenges we go through as some call it, or the evil we face is meant to bring us to Christ. Whether it be overpowering temptations, or any other kind of evil, if we will trust the Lord completely he will bring us out of it eventually stronger than when we first got pulled off on this, whatever it was. God is on the throne. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19

Jered Originally Answered: Does anyone else feel that MJ's death drew a clear line between good people and evil people?
I don't get it. Some people believe that MJ was a molester, and some don't. You believe the proof that indicates Michael was innocent, and others believe the proof that he is guilty. There is so much evidience going both ways, you can't really fault a person for drawing a conclusion different than yours.....it doesn't make them evil, just misinformed. That's just the way it is. You can't judge a person as being evil just because they believe differently than you do. it isn't fair, and it isn't really your place to do so. EDIT: Yes, I agree with you there...it is only human nature to draw your own conclusions.....but it is inhuman for a person to act poorly and crudely on their beliefs. There is always a better way for people to express themselves without being nasty about it. Wow....I like just totally agreed with you for a change. I feel pretty good about it too...LOL>> Have a Great Night!
