Exponets are the stars * EX. *2 is exponent 2.
Times is muiltiplacation
1. Find the perimenter of the figure Height: 5x-y Length: 3x+2
2. Find the product (12 over 3)(x*8 over x Times x*3
3. Evaluate 4x *-3 if x= 3
4. 0.54( with the line on top that means reapting decimal) as fraction
5.b= 5 over 8 divided by (-3.5)
6. Translate the diffrence between 4 times a number and 12 into algebraic expression
7. Evalute the exprssion 3a +(k+5b)-9 A+=7 B=4 k=10
8. Simplyfy -4(c+3)+2c
9. Evaluate 3x*3 if x=4
10. 19mk*3 over 57mk*
11.Find the product of (3*6)(3)(3*5) in exponents
12.Write 93 million miles in scinctific notation
13.Write 7 over 15 in decimal

Find the product (12 over 3)(x^8 over x Times x^3) =4x^10 3. Interesting question, actually. I'll post more details shortly. I sent this question to my dad (he's a math professor). Answer: (and yes, there is no right or wrong answer on this, btw). the way to make a number small like an exponent is to make it a superscript. i don't think you can do it in this, but in microsoft word it is easy. highligh the thing you want to make superscript and then right click and click font and check the superscript box

It may be how it is taught. We have a program at my school that combines teaching Mandarin with teaching magic squares and it is very popular with the K-5th graders. If you think it's just a boring program, then see if there's another one offered at a different language school in your area. (I live in an area where there are a lot of language/cultural classes because there are a lot of different nationalities and ex pats) However, at a certain point, you just have to make learning non-negotiable. If it's important to you that your daughter excel in Chinese, you need to make her study by taking away privileges if she doesn't do her best and reward her positive behavior.
