Can you interpret my dream for me? (not long!)? Topic: Writing letters to your ex-boyfriend
July 17, 2019 / By Cari
Question: Okay so i dreamed that i went back to school & seen some old friends but they weren't as happy to see me as i was them. I wasn't even going back to stay i just wanted to see them again. Then there was one of my really old friends there & she wasn't paying me much attention either. (they were having a play) & then i was in a gastation/jewelry store & i was picking out jewelry barefoot. My ex boyfriend was there with one of his friends & he was watching me out the corner of his eyes looking at my barefeet. I was like... why am i here with no shoes? Kinda embarrassing. My ex best friend was there too-same girl at the play. Then i left & went walking down a highway-i was making faces at people driving by & they just looked at me like wtf. Then i dreamed some more about my ex boyfriend & he wrote a letter on fb that said what was wrong with him, that he had depression or something. & then he was eating a hamburger with mayonayese on it lol i was like thats sick. Anybody know what this means? Its a little confusing i just woke up & jotted it down.

It sounds like you're feeling socially insecure at the moment (Your friends not being happy to see you...your old friend ignoring you...your ex gawking at you being barefoot...drivers giving you funny looks) Try spending more time with family and/or friends that you know will make you feel good to be around them.

I had to print this out so I could start writing my best selling sci fi fantasy book about this one! Just kidding. It's odd that while your own cat was missing in your dream you still dreamed a lot about cats. It could mean that your only constant in life now is your cat Kiwi. And that without your her your life would be surreal. You tend to fantasize or daydream to me which is not bad. I do that myself, perhaps too much. Thank God for Yahoo Answers for such distractions. As unusual and changing as life is now, for this is what the interesting part seems to me, you still look for order and structure. Something to make sense. Meteor showers are random, and not orderly the way you saw them in your dream. You tend to be a follower perhaps since you were in a group of 50 yet you have the ability to be alone and survive just like a cat with nine lives. In the same way you avoided a dangerous situation with the buck and avoided it. This is what starting your new job represents to me. The final part of your dream suggests uncertainty in your new job. Don't be afraid and go with the flow. Kiwi is always with you. Nice dream. I'll let you write the best seller.

According to Dreamcrowd: To see water in your dream, symbolizes the meeting between your two states of mind. The sand is symbolic of the rational and mental processes while the water signifies the irrational, unsteady, and emotional aspects of yourself. It is a place of transition between the physical/material and the spiritual. To dream that you are on the beach and looking out toward the ocean, indicates unknown and major changes that are occurring in your life. Consider the state of the ocean, whether it is calm, pleasant, forbidding, etc. To dream that you are looking toward the water, suggests that you are returning to what is familiar to you. Alternatively, you may be adapting or accepting to the changes and circumstances in your life. To dream that you are relaxing on a beach, signifies that the coming weeks will be calm and tranquil for you. Your stress will be alleviated and you will find peace of mind. To dream that you are working on the beach might signify a business project that will consume most of your time. To look up at the clear blue sky in your dream, denotes peace and freedom of expression. If the sky is cloudy and overcast, then it foretells of sadness and trouble. To see a bobcat in your dream, suggests that you need to pay close attention to what you see and hear in your daily life. Try posting your dream on Dreamcrowd for a free interpretation.

It probably means that you are trying to hold onto something that you must let go, I don't know what that thing may be, but there must be something in your life that you're holding onto, and maybe you don't realize yet that you must let go. I hoped that helped!

--well you still have some feelings for your ex subconsciously(like it or not). --you wish your mother the best of luck no matter how things turn out and good fortune. --the fridge is your life, the idea that your dad wanted to clean it out may represent getting rid of bad things in the past and straightening up for the present for new things/events. the snow and blue crabs were part of the bad things, the idea that some were dead and alive maybe because some of the things in your life may still be unfinished business that you may have thought you have finished dealing with already(like your ex for an possible example).so throwing away the container as well will be like washing your hands of everything completely. --you fixing your computer could be like you preparing or recovering your minds normal state of function(probably after you rid yourself of the past).the credits can be a list of people that helped you get through the process you were/are going through. the song playing can be something that you find attractive(not necessarily a person) while the loudness can be how close they/it is to you, you not lowering it is because you like it. the threat from your niece may indicate that some one in your family or very close to you(probably your niece because she was in the dream) may betray you because it disturbs their comfort/;happiness that you have them/it around you. i hope this has been helpful, i took my sweet time interpreting nearly, if not every, part of what you wrote.

You know, there is a school of thought that believes that dreams aren't the big meaningful experiences that some believe they are, but a way that the brain sorts out the events of the day and works through problems that you are having. If I were you, I would just break it down into its parts (boyfriend/proposal, dad/chores, mom/money) and think about what real life events they probably correspond to. Did your dad ask you to do something recently that was upsetting, or challenging? Is your mom worried about money? Maybe the boyfriend part is about you feeling ready to be in a relationship with someone, or to have romantic feelings again. There is no right or wrong answer here but sometimes its best not to obsess over things like this- at least in a negative way.
