Glycerin and Propylene Glycol Free Lotion?

Glycerin and Propylene Glycol Free Lotion? Topic: How to write a check at walmart
July 19, 2019 / By Cath
Question: I have had a Glycerin and Propylene Glycol allergy for a while, but recently I've been plagued with dry skin because of winter. So I went looking for lotions without it, and failed miserably and decided to try one with Propylene Glycol to see if perhaps I wouldn't react to it. Sadly I reacted to it and still my dry skin is driving me insane. When I went to Walmart I looked at practically every bottle all saying Glycerin or Propylene Glycol, frankly it's driving me insane. I know some natural brands even use the two chemicals and I really have no clue where to find a lotion without them. So if anyone knows where I can find something without the two then it would be so greatly appreciated.

I don't have a propylene glycol allergy, but I don't use it because of things I read about it. I too have to read labels, and I can't believe how hard it is to find a lotion without it! I use pure natural shea butter, or cocoa butter. A jar of shea butter will cost about $10-12 but it lasts a long time. I am still using the jar I bought almost a year ago. I buy my shea butter at Walmart, in my Walmart the shea butter is by the shampoos, in the section for ethnic/African American hair. Or try a natural or health food store. EDIT: Sorry, I checked my Jason lotion, if you read what I wrote about it, ignore it, it contains vegetable glycerine. Another option is vitamin E oil or sweet almond oil, or any natural oil. I use sweet almond oil, it absorbs pretty well and isn't too greasy, just don't use very much.

My advice? DON'T. I'll let Lisa & Glenna tell you about tanning beds. Google Lisa and see what she looks like 2010. She got those moles from a tanning bed. Google: Warning in Tanning beds: About 13,200,000 results (0.25 seconds)  Tanning beds aged you by 10-15 years! Google A Death by Suntan by age 26, Yahoo Shine 3-23-10. In April 2005, while working out at her college gym in Rhode Island, 22-year-old Glenna Kohl detected a hard, golf ball-size lump near her groin. . . . .In high school, Glenna did have an irregular mole removed from her leg. A pathology report identified it as benign, but the surgeon tested it again. The lab had made an error: The mole was an early stage melanoma. Google: Lawsuits in tanning beds. But in the end the only thing you'll benefit is either moles, freckles, skin tags or discolorations from sunscreens, lotions, etc. and the more you do, the more they get larger, darker & bumpier. My nephew had a membership in a tanning bed salon for a year. After it expired, he stopped, now he's as white as before he began. Tanning, is a result for 'damaged skin' and no products can reverse you from skin cancer or damaged skin, may prevent you from pre-mature aging, but that's part of the billion dollar beauty industry. A new study conducted by the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Dermatology has found that tanning bed exposure can be dangerous when tanners self-diagnose skin problems and use the radiation to treat skin eruptions. The study specifically found that a tanning bed user that used the radiation to treat a mild skin rash caused by an ibuprofen allergy developed a much more severe reaction called toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN). When left untreated, TEN can be fatal. Melanoma is the leading cause of death from skin disease. An estimated 76,259 new cases of skin cancer will be reported particularly among women in their 20's & 30's, and that's 6,020 more than 2011, people died from the disease, according to the National Cancer Institute. oddly enough? you may want to try moisturizing with crisco (lard!). I know it sounds gross, but put it on before bed and them put on some gloves, and? It works like a charm. Hurray for hydrogenated oils, lol. Good luck.

Don't worry, my dog does the same thing! There's ingredients in there that dogs love to eat, but I've seen most dogs do it, so yours isnt the only one out there! At night mine have tried to lick it off my legs.I'm not sure if any of the ingredients in the lotion are toxic to animals so you may want to do some researching on that.I know that the lotion, one of the main ingredent is cow placentas.Placentas are very good because it adds moisture to your skin, my dog seems fine and he's been doing it whenever he can get ahold of it! Good luck! Kelly :)
