Climate science is a matter of such global importance, that the highest standards
of honesty, rigour and openness are needed in its conduct. On the specific
allegations made against the behaviour of CRU scientists, we find that their
rigour and honesty as scientists are not in doubt.
14. In addition, we do not find that their behaviour has prejudiced the balance of
advice given to policy makers. In particular, we did not find any evidence of
behaviour that might undermine the conclusions of the IPCC assessments.
15. But we do find that there has been a consistent pattern of failing to display
the proper degree of openness, both on the part of the CRU scientists and on the
part of the UEA, who failed to recognise not only the significance of statutory

Two links later...."At a recent New Hampshire town hall meeting, Romney "stuck to the position he has held for many years — that he believes the world is getting warmer and that humans are contributing to it," said the Washington Post."
^^Some dubious looking website/blog.
Anyways, it's a sad day for the GOP when agreeing with an overwhelming % of the world's scientists is such a newsworthy and heated issue. What happened, GOP?

Originally Answered: What is Global climate change and how did it occur?
Global climate change has happened over a number of years. There are a lot of things that we as the populations have done to make the climate and the other changes that we have been experiencing in the world.
One major change has been industrialization. The fact that more and more cities are popping up in different areas causes the one of the bigger problems with global warming and climate change with the fact that with the industrialization comes greenhouse gases that are produced from excess car exhaust (carbon dioxide), and also factories and other such changes like this.
Another fact is that of forest thinning and deforestation. With this practice in place, we have been having major problems with pollution and other gases that have been going around in the atmosphere which has caused major changes within the climate change. With the deforestation and forest thinning, it permits things like landslides, way more pollution because there is not that absorption of carbon dioxide in exchange for oxygen that is needed for people to breathe in.
Also, with the amount of population of people that have been moving into different areas has also caused more carbon dioxide, as this is a waste product that we the people breathe out. With a population increase this can also cause pollution which can cause gases that can cause the climate to change.
Also there has been a lot of decomposers like fungi and other bacteria and particles that have been causing various emissions etc.
Getting back to your question about Global climate change and how did it occur, it can be broken down in the ways that were listed above.
Also as a population we have been very wasteful of different products as well like eating too much food, using too much paper, so that the trees have to come down, and other things like that.
Global climate change has been happening at an alarming rate because of the fact that we haven't been too careful with what we do from day to day, and then the gas distribution from a lot of these practices have caused enough gases to enter the atmosphere that has warmed different areas and made different areas cooler to allow for various weather conditions.
As for the weather portion, some areas have been seeing more drought like conditions, while there has been some areas that have been more wet like in flooding, and have had more serious storms such as hurricanes and tornadoes.

Even most conservatives would agree that mankind has an affect on the temperature. The contention is how much of an affect. Since the alarmists have been caught altering and even making up data, that contention with the theory should be universal. Even one of the top alarmists has recently admitted he was wrong about the severity of the situation (see link below). So, agreeing that we affect the climate is worlds away from agreeing we must wreck the economy and make Al Gore a billionaire by screwing around with the insanity of carbon credits and everything else that comes with buying the world is dying schtick.

I think he has since become educated about Global Warming and knows that CO2 is not the problem, when the dinosaurs were on earth we had more CO2 because the plants were huge to supply the food source, CO2 is not the problem it is the natural warming and cooling of the earth. Stop listening to those paid off scientists, their are other scientist that don't believe it and have proof. So I guess it is just who your want to believe. The powers that be want your money, so they make up stuff to get it.

Another Romney flip flop
Back in June 2011:
"I believe the world's getting warmer," Romney said when asked about his position on global warming, according to The Boston Globe. "I believe that humans contribute to that ... so I think it's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and the global warming that you're seeing.''
Those comments were aligned with the views he espoused in his 2010 book, "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness." In it, the Romney wrote: "I believe that climate change is occurring -- the reduction in the size of global ice caps is hard to ignore. I also believe that human activity is a contributing factor.''
"My view is that we don't know what's causing climate change on this planet," the former Massachusetts governor said during a question-and-answer portion of the fundraiser on Thursday. "And the idea of spending money to try to reduce CO2 emissions is not the right course for us."

Of course he does. He's not stupid.
Note that was 10 months ago. He "changed" his position since then to get the nomination.

Isn't that your goal? To try and convince people to your way of thinking?
As I see if, if someone agrees with you, why would you make fun of them for doing so? It seems counter productive.
