How to draw on Microsoft Word? Topic: How to write a better signature
June 20, 2019 / By Raelyn
Question: I need my signature on Microsoft Word. Currently, I run version 10.6.8 on my Mac and I use Microsoft Word 2011. Are there any applications, programs, or shortcuts on Word that will allow me to sign my signature using my cursor? Are there any drawing apps in general that will allow me to do this? Thanks

Write your signature with a regular pen on a piece of paper. It's best to use a nice dark pen, not too fine of a point. Scan it. Open that scanned file up and cut out your signature. Save it somewhere so you can get to it again. In the Word doc, put the cursor where you want your signature to be and Insert > Picture. You may need to resize it once it's placed. You may also need to right-click and change the position to Behind Text.Click on the picture to adjust position.

Microsoft Word is not free but there is a free alternative. Try Open Office, a free alternative to Microsoft Office and is completely compatible with Office programs. The program Writer included in Open Office is just like Microsoft Word. OpenOffice.org is a multiplatform and multilingual office suite and an open-source project. Compatible with all other major office suites, the product is free to download, use, and distribute.

You imply you do not need and alternative on the ribbon that claims "Insert" and inside of it the alternative "Shapes"? In place of job 2007 there aren't any toolbars like in previous models... The whole lot is organize on the ribbon.

Sorry to say you have to purchase Microsoft Word 2003 in addition to your new computer. Microsoft has a way of squeezing all the money they can from you.
