Question: Write the logarithmic expression in expanded form using the properties of logs. log (root of 5(x) (y^2)/z^3 Edric | 4 days ago
I am not quite sure what the equation that you typed is. The parenthesis are not closed, but I will try to answer anyway. The properties for expanding and condensing logs are: log_b x/y = log_b x - log_b y log_b xy = log_ x + log_b y The exonent of a quatnity can also be made the log's coefficient: log_b x^r = r*log_b x Using those you can expand the initial equation to: log_5 x + 2*log_5 y - 3*log_5 z

the 4 properties of logs are in the beginning of the chapter theyre super simple i could just give you the answer but well.... not only should you learn yourself because this is basic algebra but its really hard to understand the math in computer print u know? heres a tip though, if your using an updated ti 84 you can do log base anything without fractions just push the math key and go all the way down its there
