Question: I can start the book and develop characters but how do you develop a plot and suspenseful ending. It'll be a horror. I like to write and have an imagination like there's no tomorrow, but i can't think of an actual story with a plot.

It sounds like your biggest issue is that you feel that you have to know the plot ahead. Keep in mind many authors don't plot outlines before writing. They often start it based on few words or a neat character that interests them and the story developes from there. So try a little exploratory writing and see where it takes you. Horror is not a hopeless genre to write in! It is a harder field to manage but there are publishers looking for it! I suggest reading : On Writing by Stephen King ( he also references some good writing books by other authors) Getting the Words Right by Theodore A Rees Cheney On Writing Horror: A handbook by the Horror Writers Association I also suggest checking out this blog by horror author Brian Keene, he's one of the newer and better voices in the field. http://www.briankeene.com/?p=88

On my over-crowded bed :P The duvet is crumpled up in the corner as one big bulk, a colourful collection of pencil crayons here, there, and everywhere, with their tin sprayed about on the floor alongside my bed. Usually three or four Tesco chocolate bars alongside which. A wad of paper on top of the Guiness Book of Records 2008 (I like something to lean on when I draw) and the Hobbit on top of one of the four pillows (the other three are ... somewhere ... o.o''). And perched on top of the bedside table are my perfume bottles, my remote, and my two alarm clocks! FWI, heehee, I wasn't describing what I can see at the moment - this is the scene everytime I sit down to write xD Once or twice I'll have orange juice or milk in a glass next to the alarm clocks - but that's about it!

Two places- I write on the bus on my commute to and from work each day (it's about 45 minutes each way) on a little netbook, and then sitting on my bed with my laptop on my knees when I'm at home. I usually have the TV on at home too- for some reason, I get a lot more done if I've got some background noise too.

There are various of places in which I feel comfortable when writing. Those are : My room (on my bed or sitting on my desk with laptop and my cat), my balcony, even my garden (we have chairs and tables outside - it's pretty awesome to write under a cherry tree, while listening to the birds singing - a great source of inspiration, in my opinion). Then, also at the living room ( and I once wrote a whole chapter in the garage, while fixing my bicycle lol)!

You need to read loads of books in the same genre. It is hopeless trying to get a book published particularly if you are new. What you have to do initially is write a couple of chapters and then write to agents. If you don't attract an agent with the idea, it is unlikely you will attract a publisher

If you can't find someone one here, you could probably find lots of people on Wattpad to help you :) Best wishes

From the question, it's not really clear what you want help with, which doesn't bode well for the quality of the book. There's a reason why most published novels have only one person's name on the front. There are several good reasons why a writer would collaborate on a novel with other writers, but "I can't write a decent novel on my own" is not one of them. EDIT: It doesn't work like that. Someone who's capable of writing a publishable children's story already has more ideas of their own than they know what to do with. They don't need to go mooching off other writers. Either learn how to write your story the way you want it to start with, or pay a ghostwriter or an editor to fix it for you.
