Topic: How to write a good murder mystery book
June 19, 2019 / By Jonty Question:
I'm 12/13 girl and I LOVE mystery/thrillers/ and murder books (I'm very different than other girls.) Or, I like all those 3 catagories in 1 book. I would like ALOT of books. I like books such as R.L Stines Fear Street/Chillers or something like that. I like his books. But are there any others that are something like the same? And I was wondering if the Vampire Diaries are good? I really don't care how old I have to be to read these books, I just LOVE these books! Ok hope you guys can help me! Thankyou! :)

Mystery/thrillir/murder? Sounds to me like you'd be a Ted Dekker fan. I like these same catagories in a book, and Ted Dekker is perfect for writing them. Just pick pretty much any of his books. Some are somewhat fantasy, but all have action and thrill. He's an amazingly talented author. I would definitely suggest him for someone who likes these catagories. Seriously, you should at least give one a try. I would suggest The Bride Collector. It was my favorite, and it has a lot of murder, thrill, and mystery in it. Very gorry, but totally awesome. You should read it.
My suggestions would be;
The Hunger games Trilogy by Susanne Collions
Book 1= The Hunger Games
Book 2= Catching Fire
Book 3= The Mocking Jay.
another good Trilogy is Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness
Book 1= The Knife of Never Letting Go
Book 2= The Ask and the Answer
Book 3= Monsters of Men
Both series are kinda mystery / war/ murder/ Si-Fi. I Highly recommend them.
and I dunno much about the Vampire Diaries, I've never read them.
