This notice appeared on Monday at the entrance gate to the backcourt between Nos 3 and 1 Westbank Quadrant, clearly from a resident irate at some sloppy dog doo in the path and paving stones !

Glasgow Conmmunity Safety Services (GCSS) and a team of 4 people who had opted to do community service rather than pay a £50 fine for dropping litter in Glasgow cleaned all the litter from the car park, the parks depot and Otago Street on Saturday 28 February.

Join us in the backcourt for an extra special clean-up. It’s the last of the year and bound to be chilly, so we’ll have some mulled wine to hand for everyone who turns up. How can there be any greater incentive ?!

The regular “first Sunday” monthly Clean Up was attended by six residents. Leaves swept, bin areas tidied and some gardening work completed following the previous day’s workshop leaving the area looking cared for.
